How can you get value for your home remodeling dollars? Rena can help you analyze your remodeling goals, give design suggestions and estimate costs. Rena can help you decide whether you should remodel or consider purchasing a new home and give you information on using green materials and methods. Although not available to provide additional design services, Rena can explain the remodeling process and recommend local design professionals and skilled contractors.
For those building a new home, Rena is available for consultation on site selection, green building materials and methods, and general advice on house size and budget.

Expert Witness Services
Rena M. Klein, FAIA is an expert in residential design and construction, particularly single family and duplex residences and wood frame construction of any size structure. She has 20 years experience designing residential projects in Seattle and surrounding communities in Western Washington. As a faculty member of Washington State University’s Interdisciplinary Design Institute in Spokane, WA, Rena teaches building codes and acoustics to design students.
Rena has been recognized as a leader in her profession by her elevation to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows in 2006.

Residential and Green Building Code Consultation
Code consultation services are offered to architects and designers who have questions about residential code issues or green building standards. Rena has expertise in codes and standards covered in the 2009 International Residential Code, the National Association of Home Builders National Green Building Standards, 2009 International Energy Conservation Code, and LEED for Homes.
